The most famous among them is the Ooty Lake, it is an artificial lake in the shape of an irregular 'L'. It was artificially formed by the founder of Ooty, John Sullivan by damming the streams flowing through the hill station, Kodaikanal is also popularly known as the princes of Hill Stations. The cool and misty weather, the scenic beauty of the rolling hills, and the wooded forest of Kodaikanal and its surroundings will mesmerize any visitor throughout the year.
