Ooty is a hub for all water lovers and is home to some wonderful and glistening lakes. The most famous among them is the Ooty Lake, an artificial lake in the shape of an irregular 'L'. It was artificially formed by the founder of Ooty, John Sullivan by damming the streams flowing through the hill station.
